Stephanie Momanyi
Undergraduate research assistant
Stephanie Momanyi is a senior at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she is majoring in nutrition (health and society) with a minor in chemistry. She is deeply passionate about global healthcare systems and improving nutrition access in low-income communities. Her clinical and research experiences in informal settlements in Kenya and South Africa have shaped her commitment to community-based participatory health research, particularly focused on adolescent and child nutrition. Additionally, she has conducted research involving lactating individuals in Switzerland, Lao PDR, and Brazil. Currently, Stephanie is contributing to projects on front-of-package food labeling and marketing.
