David Gonzalez
Undergraduate Research Assistant
David Gonzalez is a senior undergraduate student majoring in Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and minoring in chemistry and Health & Society. In general, David is interested in studying the link between human behaviors and long-term health outcomes for particular populations. His experience in non-profit work, health advocacy, and Alcohol Use Disorder research prompted interest in his work at the Global Food Research Program.
My family’s holiday favorites are… Buñuelos and Natilla — a classic Colombian Christmas.
My least favorite beverage is… root beer, despite all my friends loving it.
My favorite food-related smell is… apple pie — especially while it’s baking.
