Ama obtained her BA in Communication Studies and is now completing her Master’s in Nutrition at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Ama worked in digital marketing before pursuing her master’s. During her time in graduate school, she worked in the Neuropsychology of Ingestive Behavior Laboratory studying the neural and behavioral mechanisms of habit formation and decision-making processes connected to food selection and eating patterns. Her interests include limiting consumption of ultra-processed foods and the prevention of chronic disease.
My go-to comfort food is… pizza!
When I’m in a time crunch, I love to make… tofu and rice.
Food I must have in my home is… broccoli.
