Amelia Willits-Smith
Postdoctoral Fellow, 2022–2023
After completing her PhD in public health nutrition at Tulane University, Amelia joined GFRP as a post-doctoral fellow, where she conducted research estimating food-related greenhouse gas emissions from US diets in the most recent versions of NHANES and studied the impact of red meat health and environmental warning labels on food choices.
Amelia is now a Cancer Research Training Award fellow in the National Cancer Institute’s Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program’s Risk Factor Assessment Branch.
